Because of continued demand and successes of you, our vendors, we are adding a second craft fair. The second Kiwanis Craft Fair will be held in conjunction with the already established and very popular Seaplane Festival in September. The dates for the two events are May 24-25 and September 19-21, 2008, on the shores of Clear Lake.

As in the past, our prior year participants will be given preference in the selection process. All applications with fees must be received by the jury date of April 1, 2008.

Please mark on the application your interest in saving a booth for the September Seaplane Festival date. If you participate in both Fairs, you will enjoy a 20% discount for the September Festival.

Note: Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Kiwanis will not be hosting any vendors at the Seaplane Festival.

Again this year, we will provide on-site overnight parking for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (self contained units only) and there will be no public overnight parking at the Fair.

The Kiwanis will prepare a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday morning on the same site. The breakfast is a shared benefit with the Lake County 4-H Clubs. It will open at 7:00 A.M. and last until 11 A.M. when the Lakeport Memorial Day parade starts.

The parade and Breakfast will help bring customers to the site and advertise the Fair. You may wish to be open early on Saturday morning and take advantage of the early trade. Each booth will receive two complimentary tickets for the breakfast.
