The Lakeport Kiwanis Club will be distributing $6,000 in scholarship money this year to local high school and Mendocino College students.
High School Seniors
Scholarship applications are available from counselors at Clear Lake, Kelseyville, Upper Lake, Donaldson and Natural high schools or online.
The application deadline is May 1, 2010.

High School Sophomores
The Lakeport Kiwanis Club will be presenting five $100 award for the "Most Improved Sophomores" from our local schools as selected by the school principals and counselors.
Mendocino College Students
The Lakeport Kiwanis will be awarding a $500 cash scholarship to a returning Mendocino College student in 2010.
We are looking for students that live in Lake County, have completed a minimum of 6 units, and have earned a 3.0+ GPA.
The application deadline for the 2010 Mendocino scholarship is May 1, 2010.
